Duckduckgo is pretty nice, but I prefer using Startpage. Sadly, they don't disclose any data on the amount of traffic they have. I wonder if they're growing too. Hi! DuckDuckGo does seem to get the majority of it's results from Bing, but they also have their own web crawler that creates some homemade results to mix in there sometimes, and they also use hundreds of specialty sources for searches where they might be relevant. Bing went down for a few hours a few years back, and DuckDuckGo did not go down. As soon as i opened tor, i had the option right next to the duckduckgo searchbar to onionize. Ehat exactly is that? I saw some forums say that it will switch my duckduckgo searches to duckduckgo's onion site. Which as you probably guessed doesn't do anything for me. I still don't understand what that means. What is duckduckgo's onion site?.
